Start small by trying out online jobs as part-time venture at first. Once you see that you really like it that is the only time you should go full time.
Create rules for the family.
You are not the only one who will need to adjust to the new work setup; your family will need to as well. Consider the idea of hiring childcare especially once your workload piles up. Create rules and clear out expectations for the family. Look for a spot in your house that you can turn into a home office. Tell the kids to value that space, specially the items in it. After all, you don’t want to see your kids playing around with things in your working area.
